The EVO 36 is a good bit heavier than what was on it before plus the weight gain from the repairs. I will check it after it's together. I modified the EVO with the new Fox NVA to get the pickup and adjuster where I wanted it. I hope it works.

Well I put my EVO .36 on the ARF Nobler I have minus the cowl. Had to add tail weight to make up for the Fox .35 Stunt. Am still trying to get the hang of the EVO .36. Have the small venturi with the stock muffler set up that seems to be working. Can't get it to run right with the tongue muffler or even get consistent starts.

Mine has been running fine with the tongue muffler and I have my own ideas on starting. Time will tell if it works.

Paint work is pretty much done. After the polyurethane has dried, I will mount the engine and test run it.

The EVO 36 is mounted and plumbed in. I'm going to try the 10-4 3 blade Tornado prop for the first runs. I will let the Polyurethane dry for a little while longer before I run it. I also need to check the CG. UPDATE: The engine has been run. Rock steady. More than enough power, maybe too much. C.G. is forward of NoblARF #3. How much is unclear. If it is too much will only be answered by a test flight.

Well nose heavy is better than tail heavy. I had to add 1 ounce of lead to mine to get the plane to turn like it used to with the Fox. That EVO is on powerful engine.

As I was replacing the .5 oz tail weight that fell off the #2 with 1oz internal weight, I bumped the model into the work bench and broke the tail section off the model. Not a very strong tail section. More work.

That is one sickening sound. The model is still sitting there.

Repairs have been started, but this is going to take some work to be sure it won't fail in flight.

Now you can beef up the structure instead of an ounce of dead weight.
Good luck with the rebuild.

The 1oz weight had already been glued in when I broke the tail. I need to do a careful repair to not gain too much more weight, or I will need to swap the tongue muffler for the standard muffler.

That is one sickening sound. The model is still sitting there. I heard that about this time last year....I stepped on my dremel tool that had fallen off my desk...lost my balance and fell om my favorite Ringmaster S-1 stunt plane....really busted it all up.

I finished the repairs Friday and took it out Saturday to fly. It doesn't turn all that well. The second flight, I crashed it like the last time out when I had broken the mounts. The mounts are fine this time, but the tank clunk is stuck in the front of the tank again. I need to check to see if the controls are slipping.

My damages weren't all that bad, but very discouraging. There is something else wrong with the controls on this thing, possibly a slipping clevis.

The plane is still sitting there. I am so sick of having to repair them again and again. I want to do some heavy flying and not repairs.

Hey Everyone! New to this site, but I have one of those Nobler freakin' ARFs, and the elevator clevis pin CAME OUT OF THE CLEVIS, and caused my plane to crash! Totally not my fault! Guess who's getting a letter? I'm Gus the I.A. on another site, but got directed here, somehow, and saw the Nobler thing. Oh, it's just maddening that such cheap hardware can be included in the box.

Hey you get what you pay for. If they put in the really good stuff and didn't have the Chinese labor, we couldn't afford it.
