I got a little light rain on the trip to the field. No rain at all while flying. Very little wind, HOT and HUMID. I put up several attempts to fly the Galaxy/Johnson CS. Not much luck. My flying partner pulled the bellcrank out of his BiSlob. His predator did well. He is starting to build a Super Slob. We'll see how that goes.

I'm going to try to fly this Sunday weather permitting. I finally got out to the shop to do some prep work for flying. Minor work like rubber bands, props etc. I still need to service the filter on the Galaxy. This Sundays forecast: Attachments:

Total washout. Before the trip I checked the weather radars. It looked like the rain was moving away from the field. It was raining at the house when I left but I figured I would run out of the rain as I went further north. Guess again. I had a mixed bag of weather on the trip up. When I got there there was a slight drizzle that rapidly turned into a thunderstorm. After a while, it let up enough to do some business then we headed to burger king. After lunch I headed home.

Lots of clouds, no rain, little wind, HOT! 1 flight on the Biplane converted to monoplane. Bad engine run. Smash. 1 run on the re-propped Galaxy, pretty good. When I was done with the flight, my heart rate was up, this with a pacemaker, and my respiration was up. I think I overheated. A few minutes in the truck A/C and all was well.

My flying partner is going on vacation to North Dakota. I'm going to miss 2 or 3 Sundays flying. Is there anyone around Miami or Ft. Lauderdale that wants to go flying?

My flying partner is due back from his vacation early next week, so hopefully we will be back flying this next Sunday. Too early for a weather report.

Too bad you are so far from Stuart. Or it wasn't so far for me. I did get out with the grandson and a gent from NM. You probably seen that on Stunt Hangar as that is my main site. Don't seem like much action here and don't know how to get guys to come here.

No rain, almost no wind, over cast, Very humid. This past week I changed out the engine on the Galaxy for another Johnson Combat Special. Not much better. Quit inverted and broke another Needle Valve. My flying partner put up a good flight on his predator, then a terrible flight on the BiSlob. Next engine will be an LA 40.

No rain, little to no wind, HOT!. I give up on the Johnson CS for the time being. I can't seem to get a setting on it. I'm going to try something else for next Sunday. The LA 46 in the Fronkensteen 4 would not run today. I suppose 6 months is too long to leave it sit.

I finally gave up on the Johnson CS for the time being and put a Super Tigre G21 46 on the Galaxy. I hope it works out better than the Johnson.

No rain, little to no wind, HOT, HUMID. Put up 4 flights on the Galaxy/ST G21 46. Balance is better, plenty of power, first start was difficult, the others got better each time. Compression is still low, but the run and mileage is good, so as long as it starts, I will put more time on the engine. I need to play musical props.
