I am having major problems in my fuel preperation and storage system. The bottom of my flight kit is always wet with castor oil. I think my fuel storage cans are leaking. My filter funnel is made of plastic and it has a crack in it. I found a source for the cans I use, but I need to go into Doral to get them, about a 30 minute trip. If I go, I will get 10 of them and replace most of my cans. I need to hunt for the proper size of funnel, then fit it with the micromesh I use for a filter.

I put up 3 flights on the Galaxy/small shaft Johnson. Second flight resulted in a pancake crash. Small split in the covering, so I flew it again. During cleanup, I found it was cracked all the way across the center section thru and including the top of the fuselage. More surgery. I also flew the Fronkensteen 4 one flight. I took a little too much nose weight off it.

No rain, cool, breezy. I test flew the NoblARF #3. Controls are off. Needs muffler. A tongue muffler is on order. I flew the ARFstreak/Brodak 25. I planted it inverted. Broke off the tailfeathers. I put up 2 flights on the Barnstormer/McFox 35. The engine is still breaking in. Attachments:

I put up 4 flights on the NoblARF #3/Brodak 40 today. I did better with each flight. I also put up 1 flight on a Tutor 2/FP35 that my partner gave back to me. Needs some work, but flies really well. My partner destroyed his BiSlob today. Broke the motor mounts.

Warmer, light wind. Looks promising. UPDATE: I put up 3 flights on the NoblARF #3. It turns better inside than outside despite having more movement outside than inside. 1° downthrust wedge has been installed on the engine. Lets see how much that helps. Attachments:

Don't forget, you choose to live in snow country.

Well if I left KANSAS it would be to go west, even as far as the Big Island. Still have a portion of the driveway to shovel off. Yes shovel as this stuff is too deep and heavy for a snow scoop.

No idea what the "snow scoop" might look like. Never *moved* any snow anywhere I've lived in 73 years.

Which proves you are slightly smarter than some of the others here. I had never seen snow till I attended a wedding in Buffalo NY one Jan. I asked myself why ANYONE would choose to live if this stuff. Lake effect blizzard.

No rain, cool, bordering on cold, windy. The NoblARF #3 is NOT a windy weather plane. I put up 2 flights on the NoblARF #3 and decided to put it away before I destroyed it. I flew the Fox Rumble/small shaft Johnson 1 flight today. It won't draw fuel too well with the NVA I put in it. I also put up one flight on the slow combat plane/Fox 35. Also had fuel feed trouble. My partner smashed his BiSlob again.

Well at least you got some flights in. Spent weekend watching grandaughter play basketball. They had four games.

I suppose that's some peoples idea of fun. I have no kids, so no grandkids, at least none that I know about.

I put up 2 flights today on the NoblARF #3/Brodak 40. It needs some trimming. I lost it at he top of the hourglass. Easy save. I put up 3 flights on the NoblARF #2/EVO 36. Too much power with the Tornado 10-4 3 blade. Far too much power with the Taipan 11-5. Slightly nose heavy, even more so when the existing .5 oz tail weight came off in flight.
