Richard, first you need to save your pic from your hard drive to a photo hosting site with a web address. I like to use www.villagephotos.com It's a free site and so far I've had no problems with them. That particular site automatically resizes your pic to fit most online bulletin boards and E-Bay, if you happen to do that. It won't do this, however, if your original pic size is too large. You should have some kind of photo editing program on your computer (Microsoft Photo Editor came with mine); with these, resizing is pretty easy. There are others available--if you have a scanner, a lot of them come with photo editing software. Then, like this: the letters img in brackets [ ] the url of your photo then /img also in brackets. No spaces. Hope this makes sense, if I type it in like it should look, I'll get the red x icon. And that should do it.

Hey Gunny, that looks remarkably like a Hawk missile taking off from either White Sands Missile Range or Casner Range out near my old home town of El Paso, TX. But I suspect the site might be in Arizona (Yuma?) or California somewhere.....
I used to work for an outfit that converted and flew QF-86 drones, so we got to see that missile stuff quite a bit.

Jamie, You are correct about it being a HAWK missile. The picture was taken near Ajo, Az. The bird killed an MQM-74 drone that was out about 50 clicks. I spent 7 years at MCAS Yuma. I even spent 3 months at White Sands doing R&D with phase array and optical tracking radars. I do remember hittting some bars between White Sands and Ft Bliss. Never did get to Ft Bliss. Yo Artie, Nice looking Ultimate. You're alot futher along on yours than I am.

I know Ajo!! Ryan Field is there, we used to get a lot of spare parts for our DC-3s from a guy there who had big Quonset huts full of stuff from old transport planes. It was easy to find his place--there was a DC-4 parked right next to the road. I wonder if any of that is still there, last time I was in that area was 1983. There's a VA hospital up the road, too, if I remember correctly. It was about a twenty minute drive from Tucson International Airport.
Did a lot of work and had some good times then...... ;D

Jamie, Ajo is 50 miles South of Gila Bend on Hwy 85. We were setup about 25 miles NorthWest of Ajo. We were encamped in the desert on one of the Luke AF base gunnery ranges.
