Of all people to send out claiming someone else is a phony, Mitt Romney??? These RNC nitwits just don't get it at all. They still believe if someone can just make the right speech, people will forget they've been let down by those do-nothing clowns in DC and actually want to keep them in power. Fat chance!
When I heard Romney's list of problems with Trump, it sounded to me just like the list I have of RNC promises. "We'll overturn Obamacare if we can just get control of the Senate." Yeah, that's about as worthless as a Trump University degree, I suppose. Trump's not a business wizard, he's had bankruptcies and caused loss of jobs. Well gee, nobody I see on the R side of the aisle is distinguishing themselves as a business wizard either, yet we've had to pay for their bankruptcies in the form of bailouts. Their idea of lowering unemployment is to change the way unemployed are counted - how's that, Mitt? That strike you as ethical and full of integrity?
The bottom line is this. The RNC can do anything, say anything, and run anybody they want. But no one is going to support those back-stabbing losers again. Fool me once, as the saying goes. Trump could go club baby seals with a baseball bat tomorrow and people are still going to support him not because he's Trump but because he isn't the RNC favored son.
Mitt was spinning like a top, and it struck me as the act of someone really desperate. How does it look when the guy who pledged to support the eventual nominee is out there calling him a whack job? And these are the same people who demanded a loyalty oath from Trump.
If I was Trump I would announce at the debate tonight that unless the RNC disavows Mitt's comments in 48 hrs he's rescinding his oath and will be exploring running as an independent while still kicking everyone's ass in the R primaries.
Do these fools really think Romney is going to dick around with the convention process, become a candidate, and actually have people turn out for him like they didn't last time? Something must be in that Washington DC water supply making people into total idiots.
