They were probably assault leaf blowers. You don't have to register to own one, just anyone can walk into Walmart and buy one. If they don't clamp down on this, there will be "Lawn Shows" and loopholes and all that stuff. Some people will probably stockpile these things. Then there will be a trend to make those exhaust ports ever shorter, making them easier to conceal. Next thing you know all the gangbangers from LA to Baltimore will be running around ramping up crime with these.

The madness has to stop. We need a national leaf blower registry and at least selected confiscation of them. We need limits on the size of gas tanks or battery capacity/motor hp. Congress needs to act NOW!

Maybe if they just outlawed stupidity. But then about everyone in govt would be felons.

Instead we could count on the JustUs Dept. to start looking into those potentially dangerous Lawn and Leaf militias.
