I am preparing to activate a pair of wrecked Tutor 2's. They look so bad that I had to question the cost of the new covering needed to fly these. Since I need more to fly than the Fronkensteen 4 and the much wrecked Galaxy, I went ahead with the covering. Now to see if some paint will help the looks of these "things".

These look far too bad to waste web space posting pics of them.

I started to cover one of these things and got one panel almost done, then left it. I can't seem to force myself to finish the thing.

Yep, it is time to take a break. I have to do that once in a while.

I went ahead and got back into the workshop and started cleaning up some odds and ends like changing the NVA on a Fox 35 with a broken needle in it. I usually remove the broken needle, but this one is stubborn and I didn't want to take the time to extract it when I have so many on hand. Then I went to the first Tutor 2 and finished the first quarter panel, then hung it up and went to the second Tutor 2 when I realized I was going to have to remove the engine and tank on the first one to proceed. I then took the power sander and cleaned up some earlier repairs to see how much work is left to be able to paint this thing. The trailing edge had been broken before and someone just glued it back badly. I need to reinforce it with 1/32" plywood. The second one has a lot less covering to do. I pulled on one of the flaps and all the hinges came loose. I have to check them all.
