Who'd of thunk that the electoral process in this country actually still works on occasion? In DC's own back yard yet...

Yeah, I think the GOP was looking forward to marginalizing the teaparty in this midterm. Unfortunately Graham made it back in, but it does give hope.
I think much more is being made of it than what it was. Cantors own arrogance and disconnect of being a DC insider probably beat him more than the no name guy who did. But listening to Brat, he had it dead on, if he can push for those ideas along with Cruz, Paul and Lee, the face of the GOP might just change after all, providing he can win the general. Now we will see if the GOP will put aside difference and support him to win, or just go vindictive and stifle him so he loses in order to purge the teaparty from them. This is the tipping point, so it will be interesting to see.
Regardless, its is s sign of the anger still simmering underneath of the GOP base, whether they identify with the teaparty or not, and if they want to win elections, which at this point is questionable, they had better start listening because their iron fist grip of the process is not absolute.

The GOP won't change. Actually, Tea Partiers are more likely to change once elected. I just don't trust any politician any longer. They're all crooks or about to be crooks as far as I'm concerned. I can no longer imagine an honest person running for office.

"Good men won't run". I believe there are exceptions, there are a few who in this environment feel called to serve. There are also a lot of con artists preying on the passion of our patriotism. And don't forget the infiltrators from the left. The almost impossible task for the voters is weeding them out. The "enthusiastic supporters" have coopted the gop. As far as I'm concerned the party is lost, isolated incidences of Tea Movement victories not withstanding.
The velocity of the current regime to relegate this country to post apocalyptic rubble with nothing for oposition beyond lip service will not be halted or slowed by ANY congress or "legal controlling authority". I'm now seeing the word PROSECUTION being used more than IMPEACHMENT for a huge majority of the ruling class. Doesn't make it any less a pipe dream, but it's nice to see that others recognize the reality of the crimes being committed.
