I have to friend a lot of folkies in order to network our house concerts, and some of them are as bug-eyed blind partisan (aka "enthusiastic supporter) as it gets. I've even had to UNfriend a couple because of the vile nature of their litany, including Ronny Cox, who has taken "What Woody Said" to lower and lower levels. These otherwise kind, gentle lambs of the earth have the most evil of dark sides...
Then there's the gleeful dunces who post propaganda, which is always funny/sad for the obvious reasons:
Of course, the truth from the other side is always funnier:
There's a definite picture forming with all the differing posts I've been seeing. The bugeyed left is smelling the sickly after-sex smell of complete conversion within their grasp, rabidly lying more and more boldly. Stalinism. The true opposition, the People of this country, having no recourse but to wait the inevitable, are having some fun with it.

Heh, the Dow that had trillions dumped into it by the fed to prop the market up, in that every time they talk about even slowing, it tumbles 300- 500 points in a day.
Unemployment that has 3 million people less working now than in 09, and still going lower despite govt being the largest growing job sector of the economy.
The dollar worth officially about 90 cents to what it was in 09, but realistically about 30% to 40% less for daily need items like food, fuel and electricity and devaluation at a faster rate in those areas at any time since the depression, and now with new announcements of even increasing that.
GDP growth that is stagnant for most of the last year, if not negative the last 6 months despite the best numbers cooking that can be done.
Consumer confidence which is about as meaningful as an internet poll.
Those are the things these mindless drones are bragging about?

Well anyone who compares today's number with anything before the O administration is either being willfully ignorant or willingly deceptive. It's apples compared to oranges. We've already had numbers come out where 68,000 people were let go and unemployment went DOWN. The way they currently count 'em considers a person only "in the job market" for 6 months, then - for reasons of making the number palatable I guess - those people fall out of the calculation. So unemployment today only reflects those working and those not working for 6 months. Everyone else is simply no longer part of the stat.
This has always begged the question from me, why are we paying people extension after extension for unemployment benefits if - technically - they are not unemployed as counted by the statistic? Seems rather stupid to me to say this fellow out of work 9 months is "not part of the unemployment number" but we're continuing to pay him unemployment benefits. Only in O-ville does that make sense.
When you have almost 94 million people not working, and your population is about 300 million, there is no way in hell you can have 6.something percent unemployment. The real number is probably close to 20%. Funny how this number was important enough to be page one news during the Bush administration when it was actually low, but now that it's a fluff stat, you have to dig around to even find it.
And the GDP... every single quarter since O had been president this number comes out gleefully and suspiciously high... then weeks later it's always adjusted downward. If this happens every now and then it's probably a valid thing but if it's happening every single quarter, then someone ain't counting the beans right from the start. Would you bank with an outfit that sent you a monthly balance statement and had to send a correction out every month? The bean counting would likely tax even the superior bean counting skills of RNS, and it's a shame he's off becoming the Bill Gates of Hungary instead of helping us mere mortals understand why there seems to be no bean under any of the three inverted cups on the table.

Apparently he was smart enough to take part of a real economic recovery. For the money that has been spent propping up the economy, they could have simply wrote a check to every person who was not a millionaire bringing us up to the wealthiest nation per capita by far and eliminated all that so called poverty. Its too bad the people who are so supportive of big govt are simply too stupid, no matter how well educated, to see its not about the people at all, its about power and controlling the population through corporate control of markets and banks controlling the wealth generated from them.
Geez, I starting to sound like Clay.
