I just received a third batch of donated airplanes. I need to inventory them, but I think that there are at least 6 of them. One is a large BiPlane that I grafted an Evolution 46 into. My flying partner took a model that resembled a Super Combat Streak, except it is closer coupled with operating flaps and a wider wing. Pics later.

Large R/C biplane called the Dreamer converted to C/L. This one was test flown today. The EVO 46 proved to have enough power. The outboard tip flies high while inverted. The model hunts badly when upright. UPDATE: Another test flight today after adjusting the trim tab. Much closer to level. Still hunts badly when upright. M.A. 11 X 7-3 blade works well. Attachments:

Vertical engined flying wing. This has some problems such as severe trailing edge warps and a weak engine mount. Attachments:

This type of warp is common on solid trailing edges because of inadequate strength where the trailing edge attaches to the rib tails. The best thing is to not use solid trailing edges but use a built up trailing edge starting with a 1/8" or 3/32" square trailing edge cap overlaid by 1/16" X 1 1/2" balsa sheet top and bottom. The VooDoo uses a similar Trailing Edge but omits the cap. Attachments:

Another model is something that resembles a Super Combat Streak with a wider wing and operating flaps. We test flew it today and planted it on the third of 3 inside loops. It simply wouldn't turn. Pics later.
