It's done, ready to test run. I'll probably have to play musical props. Nothing new about that. I found some Tornado 11-3 wood props I can try.

I flew this thing today with a Master Airscrew 11 x 7 3 blade prop. It is a heavy load on the ground, but it unloads well in the air. Next I will try a Tornado 10 x 4 3 blade. I also have a pair of APC 4 blades to play with.

I flew this thing last Sunday. Flew good, but planted it upside down again. This thing can't take much more of this. Repairs are almost done again.

The gear is made. I made up double wide clips to attach the gear. I hope the clips will be strong enough. I finally got around to installing the 2 wheel gear on this thing. It looks cleaner than the PT-19. I hope it's as strong.

The gear works perfectly. Nothing else does. The latest crash tore the tail off again and broke the fuselage foreward of the tail. I glued the broken section back and shortened the fuselage to eliminate the rearmost break that has been glued twice before and bring the engine back an inch. I hope that's enough.

I made up a new rudder in the same general shape as the Fronkensteen 4, except a lot smaller and built it up using 1/64" plywood and a scrap wood core. It came out good. I need to make a replacement for the Fronkensteen 4 the same way. I installed an original stab/elevator to the Galaxy. Should prove interesting.

I have more work to do on the control system. I had to straighten the pushrod at the trailing edge where it bent before it broke at a coupler, then I had to replace several hinges for the elevator. Later I need to get some more paint. What I had went bad sitting for so long.

I flew this thing today. The engine wouldn't hold a setting. The plane did fairly well. It needs a different engine.

I took it out again Sunday. Got a bad setting and crashed it again. Did some damage this time.

While waiting for some glue to dry on the #2 NoblARF, I'm back to work on the Galaxy. This thing has taken quite a beating. I don't think it can take take much more.

Every one of your messages end with the message, keep all the pieces. If you can do that, you can get it back up and flying. Anyone can assemble, but it takes more effort & determination once it's been re-kitted.

I have just gotten back to work on the Galaxy. I cut out the stub of the stab and fitted the stab from the Fronkensteen 3. I will have to swap the control horn to the other side, but that's easy.

The horn has been swapped. The stab looks good on this thing. I need to see where the CG comes out with the fuselage shortening plus the heavier stab. I still have a few engine choices to help with the CG.

I'm back playing with the Galaxy again. It won't take much work to have it flying again.

The Galaxy is ready. I'm trying the Fox 36 sport this time. The CG is a little rearward, but I will see if the larger stab will help. If not, I'll use a heavier engine.

The Fox 36 sport will not run in a 4 cycle. It runs best in a straight 2 cycle, set just rich enough to miss slightly. A so called wet 2 cycle.

The Galaxy/Fox 36 sport runs very steadily, but a little ragged with plenty of power. I'm going to play with plugs/props/fuel to see if it helps any. It also needs more elevator travel.

I changed the needle and plug plus increased the elevator throw. I'll play with the fuel and prop at the field.

I flew this thing today. Nothing I did could get me a steady run. I'm thinking that the problem might be the aftermarket needle valve fitting too loosely allowing air to go past the threads.
