How do I insert pictures in my posting?

There is a new attachment thing within the post form. When you make a new post or reply look under the title, it will have the "browse" button next ot it.
Or if you have them hosted on the internet use the the IMG code or simply paste the URL to them and highlight it and hit the little picture icon just above the grinning smily above the text box you write in.

Grug,
When I reply, Under "Post Reply" I get Subject, Message Icon, Add Tags, Add Smiles, Message, Characters Remaining, Bookmark, and Disable Smiles.
The next lines have the shortcuts and Post Reply, Preview, Spell Check, and Reset.
Am I missing something?

right underneath the "subject line" is the attachment window with the browse button to the right

and don't use the "quick reply" at the very bottom with the big white window, use the reply button at the bottom right of the last post

Grug,
When I try to post a reply I do not get the "Attachment" line. The line after "Subject" is "Message Icon".

Doh, probably because he and I are staff, apparently its only available to moderators etc. Sorry, I didn't read the notice about it until now, its a new feature.
It seems the only way to post them is to have them hosted on web somewhere, like photobucket and then use the little button or code tags - [ img] followed by [ /img] to put it into the post.
Edit - some forums it says you can post attachments as a registered member. iwill change it and see if it helps.
Also keep in mind a 100 megabite limit for picture over all, so when there are too many they earliest ones will get delted.

That may be why so few post here. Many of us like to show something that we are trying to explain. I would suggest you limit pic sizes to 100K or so though. We can compress. George Edit: Ohboy, Ohboy...now I can post pics. Thanks. ;D |

I see this has not been completely taken care of. I do not have a place other than my computor to keep pictures. Yes, when a make a new post I can post one picture and that is it. If I try to reply to some posts, there is nothing there to let me post a pic of what I am talking about. Would be nice if we could post more than one pic on a post or even post a pic to answer a question.
