Do these political conventions change many peoples' mind on who to vote for? I figure that I already know who I am or am not going to vote for regardless of these said conventions. Most of what has been said as far as whom I will vote for has come from over several years of listening and watching.
For me, it doesn't take a convention to know what Kerry or Bush stand for. We should already know by now. Are there that many undecided voters out there that flat dont know which way they want things headed?

Mostly its just a chance to get people who need to feel like they are part of something to jump on a bandwagon since by the time the convention is held the candidate is pretty decided. It does set the tone for the run up to election though, and is a opportunity to bring up specific agenda if they choose to use it.
