One of the talking points used in this year's campaign has worn itself completely through my shoe now...
Oh GAWD when are we going to stop using hindsight as a campaign issue? I am so tired of hearing this totally inane nonsense..."Republicans on the Senate floor have stated that, knowing then what we know now, there wouldn't have been the votes to go to war in Iraq..." Let's see, what else could we have changed IF WE KNEW THEN WHAT WE KNOW NOW? ...We could have avoided WWII, the Chinese overrun of Korea, the assassination of Prince Ferdinand, the Kennedys would ALL be sharing a big pot of chowder right now, there would not have been a Great Depression, Apollo I would have been delayed for the installation of explosive bolts in the main hatch, the Star Trek series would have run continuously for at least another ten years, EVERYBODY would be rich today on Apple Computer and WalMart stock, John Kerry would have been deemed 4-F for his sociopathic tendencies, Clinton would be getting out of prison about now after a 20 year sentence for Whitewater, 9-11-01[/b]...
...OK, anyone else want to share what would be different if we knew then what we know now? Hey, the sky's the limit here, given the parameters that the Bush Haters' League has established...

Heheh, I am even more amused that some seem to be psychic, not only did they know in the past what would wouldn't work, they know what will work better in the furture, even it was the same thing taht didn't work in the past.
