But looking up Hawk Springs, Wy in Google Earth, I find the only photo to represent the entire town is this fine example. . Is this something you got as a door prize at one of the auctions you write about? Eric B.

Heheh, thats pretty funny, that car sat there for about 10 years, and just this year they moved it, maybe because someone said that google earth had it on it? Actually Hawk Springs had a bad run of luck, the one and only bar/ cafe the Longbranch saloon burned down earlier this year. And unfortunately the only door prize you get at the auctions I go to is a number.

My mother-in-law was the postmaster of Hawk Springs for some years...
How'd they get that car out of there anyway, with it's tires sunk into the pavement that way?

I think they lowered the road to get it out.

Hey Eric, what year model is that Trans Am? Does it run? What did they do with it? Do you have a trailer I can borrow if I come get it? ;D

I kept telling my wife I wanted to buy it, but she wasn't going for it. I think they sold it since they didn't just pull it around the back of their place where they park their other cars.
