I have two engines that I flew as a kid in the late 40's and early 50' and I want to run them on gasoline as they were originally designed. The problem is finding the 70 wt. oil. Does anyone know where I can buy the stuff? It used to be common in motorcycle shops but no more.

It may not be in stock, but I believe it is still produced. Did you ask if it could be ordered for you? Take care of your old gems, but consider that the chemistry of lubricating oils has improved and you probably can get away with a modern, high quality 2 cycle oil of moderately lower weight.

Why not use a good grade of Castor Oil, instead. SIG and Castrol are excellent, and Castor provides better protection, anyhow, and is a little easier to clean up, too. Mix in the same ratio - - 3:1
