If this thing runs well, I will be tempted to use it to repower my Fronkensteen. The Fronkensteen is tailheavy with an LA 46.

I have a testbed for the EVO 46. The second Tutor 2 acquired from a "retiring" flyer was mounted with an OS SF 46, which is close to the size of the EVO 46. I will designate this Tutor 2, the Tutor 2C, being it's the third Tutor 2 I have owned. The Tutor 2A lost an argument with a tree and lost it's outer wing. It looks irreparable.

It's not that it can't be done, it's that it's not worth the amount of work it would take to get it right. I have a lot of other wrecks that will take less work to fix.

If it survives long enough, I may be tempted to try to fix it. Maybe not. I have a bonfire coming up to clean house. I am almost out of storage space.

I received a donation of a 40" BiPlane that exactly fits the EVO 46. It will make a good test stand. I have already put 2 test flights on the BiPlane/EVO 46. The EVO 46 has more than enough power. It is turning a M.A. 11 X 7 3 blade. It does horizontal 8's with no problem. I set it slightly rich at launch and it goes into a 2 cycle in flight. It never misses a beat.
