I have a brochure of the Concept 2 engines that Cox was designing when they went under. I would haved loved to get my hands on one of these.

You're going to hate me but my first impression was oh wow, a modern day Frog 500 complete with 3 bolt crankcase I wonder why the left hand exhaust? Maybe the drawing was assembled wrong (before someone else says it ).

Looks to me like an Atwood Triumph. And why not?

Someone had a mockup of a Cox 35 that I've seen photos of (or a very photo-realistic drawing) -- it had more of a "Big Conquest" look to it than the drawing Phil showed up above.

There are a few prototypes floating around out there somewhere.

Well, If they are all that common, I guess I don't really want one after all. Jim

I was looking forward to these engines, but they never made it. Quite unique construction, with a chromed AL cylinder, one piece with the head, split case.
Word I heard was that they couldn't get consistent fits on the cylinder setup, using the tools available at the time. Obviously Saito has fixed this problem for their engines.
Too bad it never made it into production.
