I finally got the parts I needed to get my Dooling 29 back in action. A few years ago, the rotor split when I was flying it. There seem to be several types of backplate and rotor assemblies. I can't wait to run it.

Are you trying to make me envious? You've succeeded....

Finally got around to running the Dooling. Power seems down. It may be the rotor, maybe it just needs to be run some. If it picks up some, I will put it back into the Zilch X-pendable.

I hope you have more luck flying your Dooling 29 than I've had. I put it on a Ringmaster and took it to the VSC a few years ago. I was really going to impress people. Nope! It apparently isn't nearly broken in and I used too large a prop-9x6. It was a dog. The real problem was getting a tank in there that would work. I never succeeded. Quickly put a Fox 29 in it. Next year I tried something even more problematic. Same Ringmaster with a Forster 29. Same rear rotor problem, couldn't get a tank to work, even tried inside mount. So I put a Fox 29 in again. Maybe a Barnstormer with the upright mount will be more user friendly for you. Best regards, dale gleason

Mine ran fine in the Zilch using a Fox S NVA and a Taipan 9-6. That is before the rotor split.

I have a Dooling 29 that I had in storage for a number of years, It looks great and has excellent compression. I'm now into 90size+ warbirds. Does anyone know how much the Dooling is worth, I'm interested in selling it. Thanks

If it is unmodified, you might get $150.00 or more, depending on your presentation, on our friendly auction site. People there seem to have more money than brains. www.ebay.com
