I've learned the Collins Foundation which operates a B-24, B-17, B-25, a two place P-51c and takes them to airshows across the United States has recently added one of the new build ME-262's to their fleet. The one they acquired was originally sold to somebody in Arizona but apparently it never saw a lot of action in Arizona and even had more work done on it (landing gear?) while in Arizona to make it airworthy. Maybe we'll start seeing it at airshows sometime in the near future.

I read where all the work on the Collins Foundation's ME-262( I guess there was quite a lot of things needing redone, including new engines) is about finished. Should be up and flying this year. They were having trouble getting the FAA to allow them to sell flight time in it to help pay for costs and I don't know if that's been resolved yet. An expensive ride you can be sure. Probably 3 -4 grand for a 45 minute hop. Whatever the outcome with the FAA I hope they bring it to a few airshows this summer.
