Fox News is reporting today that the Yellowstone Supervolcano could go any day. Magma advance 7" beyond predicted, some kind of mineral test showed the volcanic cycle could be decades rather than the centuries previously thought. Result of an eruption they say will be a plume of ash 2,500 X that of Mt. St. Helens and would cause a nuclear winter in the US.
Short of tossing a few liberals into the cone as a sacrifice, is there anything that can be done about this? I don't want to buy seeds for my winter garden if the sun will be blocked by ash clouds.

Heh, that would make for a real bad day for me, that's for sure. The story I saw was wrong about Mt St Helens ash fall only making it to ID, I was in MT at the time, and it was leaving a dusting of ash on cars, and was doing that as far as ND at the time. So I imagine this would be felt in much of the country if it happens, but I still have the feeling I won't be around to see it.
Its still SUVs fault. Fracking is pissing off Gaia and now she is filling the magma vault to make it erupt.

Well the good part if you end up covered in volcanic ash like the victims of Mt. Vesuvius, you'll get to travel a lot while they put your carcass on display in various museums around the world. Try to smile though, because I've seen the ones from Vesuvius and they all have this grief-stricken look on their faces as if Hillary won an election or something. As for the SUVs, they make a bunch of those in Mexico now and that earthquake near Mexico City was big but nothing on the scale of a Yellowstone eruption. NASA announced plans to put some kind of heat exchanger deep underground to cool it down. I guess that will be the go-to place if you need a bucket of steam.

Heh, if she blows I will try to lie face down for the world to get a glimpse of my good side when on tour.

LOL yeah, and try not to be pulling a calf at the time too. Would take so long to excavate and people a couple thousand years from now might not have any clue what you were doing and have to come up with something. It could get ugly.

Far as I know you have a great rep. The prairie dogs have wanted posters out on you, but I mean besides that.

Yes, and knowing my luck it will be some sort of advanced form of prairie dogs excavating ancient earth creatures, and they will proclaim their monster myths were based in fact. "Rare prehistoric find of ancient an Earth monster that was the bane of prairie dogs killed in massive super volcano, which allowed prairie dogs to become the dominate life form on earth" Only that will sound a lot like "squeak, squeak, chirp, squeak chirp chirp woof"

In light of all that you say the tannerite operation is still in the discussion phase? Sounds to me like justification for a little shock and awe.

Yeah, well its hard to reconcile hunting strategies of shooting tannerite, with a suppressed rifle.

Just wear a Ninja costume and put the video on YouTube. No one will question it. Would help if you blather on for 5 minutes first about re-establishing a cowlaphate.

Ooooh, I dunno about that, I think those are more endangered in WY than prairie dogs.

You're simply saving them from the super volcano is all. Might even get an honorable mention from PETA.

Now you're on to something. Pasture peace through brute strength. Bring on the tannerite. Fire in the hole!!!
(CNN Host) Grug, can you tell our viewers why you blew up dozens of prairie dogs with tannerite?
(Grug) Sure. PETA objected to my using a Bowling Ball mortar or homemade nerve gas. It was either use tannerite or drop copies of Hillary's new book near their mounds. I draw the line at some things, thus it was far more humane to use the tannerite.

Yeah, maybe not deploy anything to do with Hillary, I don't want to find myself in front of the Haig, with a little earpiece trying to figure what they are saying while I am charged with crimes against dogmanity.

If you have enough funding there is always "Rent-a-Congress Critter." For a small fee you could get Maxine to come over and sit in a lawn chair out by the mount and just stare at them until she uglies them to death. If you are contacted by officials in the Hague, either threaten to send Maxine over there or put her on the phone and she can explain why they're being raciss. In fact if you act now, you can take advantage of a free week of Congresswoman Wilson from way down the other end of my state. Her job will be to overhear any calls from Trump to prairie dog widows and spin them into insulting rhetoric. For just $19.99 more, she will respond to criticism by blaming Trump and calling him a raciss. If all you can afford is the economy plan, you can get a weekend of John Kasich. He will spend the whole weekend convincing the prairie dogs that death is a better deal than what they have now, and he can prove it by what he's done in Ohio. If there is any criticism, Kasich will respond (free) by calling himself a raciss.
