I understand DOC. I am constantly amazed and impressed by all the guys you mentioned and many more. I think they all know however that my amazement ceases when I have a score sheet in my hand and anyones engine is running. At that point it boils down to what will you show me in the next 8 minutes. At that point DOC, even you would have the same chance as they. Will We see you at the Nats? I will be there with score sheet in hand.

This sounds like me. Guess that is why I am asked not to judge too often. I don't care who is in the circle, I am watching the plane. If something does not look right it gets down graded. I was even approached by a contestant afterwards asking why he was scored so low. So I told him he needs more practice. Later, DOC Holliday

Doc, consistancy is the key. Gary always considers anyone who volunteers for the Nats. It may take a couple years or someone dropping out at the last minute to get there the first time. Keep trying. It is well worth the effort to judge at the Nats.
