Ok, so I'm starting to get the slope bug, there are just some really neat airplanes out there, and if I can find a hill I'd like to try it. Does anyone else here do that kind of flying? Chime in, I have a whole bunch of questions....

Man, I'd love to try it, too. We've got hills out the wazoo, down here, but they are covered (and surrounded) by some of the nastiest vegetation you can imagine.! I've got plans for several, including a P-51 and no good place to fly.
I can fly right out in front of my house if the weather is good. This morning I was going to fly my GP "Fling" for the first time... absolutely no wind. I went out to the shop, checked out the transmitter and plugged the battery into the receiver. By the time I got back to the door the wind was coming across the valley at about 25MPH... try flying an HLG in that! GM

Is there any other way to fly?

Martin, So wa is a good beginner plane and radio on a senior citizen bule collar income. I have two Hitec radios, one for park flyers(feather reciever/55 servos) and one for full size R/C.5 channel rcver/355 servos. Dont fly the park flyer any more. Jerry

If "sloper" refers to the pilot's forehead, then there are quite a few here.
