Radio control started to not be as fun as it used to, mainly due to the ever increasing cost and the fact I no longer enjoy standing outside in this tropical paradise during the summer. So I locked myself in my now air-conditioned garage and resurrected a plastic scale model I started about 25 years ago. It's a 1/32 scale Revell P-47D Razorback, finished in the colors of the 325th FG. I had a ball doing it, and my 11 year old son is now getting the bug and has built a few 1/72 scale kits. He's getting pretty good at it, too. Anyway, here's a few pics. The last one includes the last scale P-47 I built, a Jo-Han 1/72 scale Razorback finished in 1975. Just out of curiosity, is ANYONE building and/or flying anything any more? This half of the forum seems to be dying a slow death...
