...for ski planes.
So I'm wondering if there is someone from south-eastern Wyoming who might have some suggestions, tips, or maybe a website link about how to make some skiis from...oh, I don't know...scraps of plastic laminate maybe? ;D

I think he's busy thawing out cows right now. Try this article, Chris. I made a set of these floats for a pal of mine... they worked great. Obviously I can't try the skis since I have no snow, but they look easy enough to make.

Yeah, I should have realized that. I didn't realize how bad the weather was until a few minutes ago when I talked to my Dad up in the big city.
Eric, I hope you didn't/don't lose any stock from this one.

Sorry, I have been preoccupied a little bit. We came out of the storm not too bad, its deep but we faired pretty well. Not much wind until today, and it has crusted over enough to not drift much more. Just lots of white stuff to move around. For skis, I would point to my web page and Georges tutorial on formica skis, but my host once again migrated my server and neglected to say anything about me changinging the DNS address so it will take a couple days to work.

I'm pretty sure George's ski tutorial in the link I posted is the same on you have, Eric.
