As the city of Lenexa has deemed it illegal to use part of the grassy area for one control line circle, Dave went on a search to find a new area. Seems the present area is zoned agriculture and not for recreation. The new area is an isolated park area down by the Kaw River. Closer to me. Was down there watching the park employee(Steve) mowing the heavy stuff. Kevin Pryor and Dave Trible showed up with Kevin's big Gravley machine. After several hours we now have a circle to use. It is rough right now, but usable. Attachments:

The guys did a great job on the field. I finally said to heck with what people say and I went flying. Started with the Lowrey Stuka and then the Super Ringmaster. Final flight was the Ringmaster Imperial. Ran out of fuel and water so I called it quits. Will try to remember fuel jug next time. There was a nice breeze, but there was no turbulence as far as all the planes showed me. The SR and RI both need some minor work on getting engines to run right. But that is to be expected on first flights. Other wise the planes felt great to me doing loops, inverted and eights.
